MALOLO: 1927 - Ginormous 1934 cruise brochure & deck plans

Matson Lines:  A ginormous (36" by 49") fold-out for the MALOLO's 1934 "Around South America Cruise".  What a beauty and a beast of a brochure! Various unfolds open up descriptive text, b&w destination photos, a big and colorful route map, and finally, enormous plans showing six decks.  Surrounding photos show Bar, Verandah Cafe, Dining Salon, and Smoking Room.  Detailed rates show that in the Depression year of 1934, the cruise was aimed folks who still had money. These big fold-outs were all the rage in the 1930s.  If size matters, Matson had a head up on the competition. Very good condition with light cover soiling.
