Canadian Pacific: A 30" by 40" deck plan from February 1930 for this trio of cabin ships; MONTCALM, MONTROSE, and MONTCLARE. The sisters took their maiden voyages in 1922. At the time their Cabin Class accommodations were considered to be second-to-none on the North Atlantic.Five decks are shown in color-coded detail. On back are eight large b&w photos showing interiors from all three liners. The three sisters were built with gun mounts so when WW2 arrived they were quickly called up for military service. The MONTCALM and MONTCLARE survived the war but never sailed again as passenger ships. The most popular of the trio, MONTROSE, was sunk by torpedo with a heavy loss of life in December 1940. Good condition with separation along several folds.
