NASSAU & VICTORIA - 4 gift shop pins & medallions
Incres Line- Four souvenirs from long-ago gift shops aboard Incres Line ships. The first is a 1" diameter ship's wheel pin with the houseflag and the name of NASSAU, a 1950s spot-and-polish rehab of P&O's old MONGOLIA, brightened up for Caribbean cruising with two swimming pools. A matching 1" diameter ship's wheel charm features the name of VICTORIA, the ex-Union Castle liner DUNNOTTAR CASTLE of 1936, thoroughly rebuilt into the modern-as-1960 VICTORIA that delighted passengers into the 21st century. Also from the VICTORIA is a 1.25" brass charm with "Maiden Voyage" underneath the ship's profile. A slightly smaller medallion on a key chain features a ship profile on one side and the ship's symbol of Winged Victory of Samothrace statue on the other side. Very good condition.
