Canadian Pacific: "The Pacific Princesses: An Illustrated History of Canadian Pacific's PRINCESS Fleet on the Northwest Coast" by Robert Turner, printed in 1977, hardbound with original dust jacket, 252 pages. In 1901 CP bought a rag-tag fleet of coastal steamers and within a few years turned them into a major link between Puget Sound and Alaska. This is the story of CP's long service in the Northwest from early disasters such as PRINCESS SOPHIA to the legacy of their final steamer, PRINCESS PATRICIA. A great read and filled with b&w photos. Very good condition but with wear to the dust jacket.
