Bittersweet - 29" x 40" - hooked art - as seen in Rug Hooking Magazine

This art piece is an interpretation of the ever changing (as in daily) view of the field adjacent to the Parris House in fall. This is a large piece for hanging; not recommended for the floor. Mostly wool strip hooked on linen foundation, hand hooked, loop by loop. Much of the material is hand dyed by me, specifically for this rug. Other materials used are yarn and wool roving. Additional techniques are felting, chain stitch, French knotting, simple proddy, and combined loops.  Finished with cotton twill binding tape and labeled.  This rug appeared in Rug Hooking Magazine and also was shown at Rug Hooking Week at Sauder Village in 2022.  Ships free within the continental US.
