Acer negundo / Boxelder Maple

Known for their adaptability and resilience, these trees thrive in a variety of environments. In full sun, they will quickly grow 30 - 50ft. In the spring, they show weeping yellow and red flowers, which then give way to samaras (helicopter seeds). They are considered low-maintenance, and can grow in a wide range of soils, but prefer moist conditions. Tolerates black walnut, drought, and clay soil.
