Black rooster folk art bird misc

DESCRIPTION: Folk art black rooster. This unique bird measures 5.5 tall by 4.5 wide. Look closely and you can see all the wonderful texture and fine crackle finish on his comb. This rooster has black glass eyes. I mounted him on a hand cut wood base. Signed original art!  All artwork is original hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay and its processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.
