DESCRIPTION:Sculpted using paper clay! This is a folk art style black bird with fancy coral colored flowers and leaf designs. This bird stands 4.25 inches tall and 4 inches across the wings. The paper clay offers a wonderfully soft look. The legs are striped and the base is hand cut wood. Gorgeous in person!!!! That one photo shows how the two birds look together. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced.
