Desert DOG with birds and cactus - paper clay - metal embellishment misc

DESCRIPTION:Amazing piece featuring a desert dog with cactus and birds. This is a really nice piece that took three days to complete. The desert dog was made with paper clay and finished with colored pencils and some beeswax. His neck is an old spring. The cactus and birds are polymer clay that was painted and sealed. The base sets the scene.  This piece measures 6.75 inches. I made photo's bigger than usual so you can see desert dog up close. Signed original art! All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced.
