Acorn Armoire

Let's face it -- unless you're a nudist, you need somewhere to hang your clothes. Of course you could always go to a big box store and buy a pressboard wardrobe that you'll have to replace in a year, but that'd be akin to throwing your money away and you wouldn't be looking at this listing if that were the case.  Having said that... This armoire is made using material cut from oak beams we've salvaged all over greater NYC.  We lay complimentary pieces over a cabinet-grade birch frame, it's big (36 x 24 x 72 tall) and heavy and built to last.  The steel elements (dressing rod, legs, handles) are welded right here in our shop and get a clear-coat to protect against future rusting, there are levelers for those of us with imperfect floors, the entire piece gets finished with poly and hand-rubbed beeswax. We're a built-to-order fabrication shop so message us if you want this piece modified -- bigger, smaller, different base.... whatever you need, we can make it happen. All items are handm
