Bookmatched Walnut Dining Table

While we tend to use lumber salvaged from old buildings around Brooklyn, we often find ourselves sourcing beautiful walnut slabs for any number of our commercial and residential projects. There are several local mills reclaiming trees that have fallen due to storm, age or city ordinance, and we're happy to be able to bring you pieces made from wood that would otherwise suffer the chainsaw. Having said all that.... These tables are made using book-matched, live-edge walnut slabs sourced right here in NYC.  No two trees are exactly alike and so no two slabs will be exactly alike, each piece will differ in terms of color, size and character. The good thing is that each table is a 100% original, never to be replicated.Tables are finished with poly and hand-rubbed beeswax, the steel legs are welded right here in our shop and the walnut feet are inset.
