Oxidized Oak X-Rod Dining Table

We're lucky enough to work with more than a few general contractors and demo companies who keep us in the loop when prime lumber comes available. We recently got our hands on some 200 year-old oak beams that we've been milling down, the tables and we've been building have been absolutely beautiful and we thought we'd make them available here. Tops are reclaimed oak, we chamfer the edges and then oxidize the whole piece.  The frame is a blackened steel X with a steel stretcher welded right here in our BK shop, the top is attached with inset brass screws -- nice. Each tree and therefore each piece of lumber is different, so your table will have just the right amount of unique characteristics.  We finish it off with poly and hand-rubbed beeswax, it'll last for years and years to come.
