Western Wood 1936 Emerson Model 132A AM Vacuum Tube Radio Hopalong Cassidy Would Approve! DESCRIPTION: Rare and resplendent vintage radio with ornate deco flair a little western looking even! Imagine hearing the broadcasts of Hopalong Cassidy when all things cowboy were the craze. Beautiful AM Tabletop tube clock radio manufactured by Emerson in the 1936 time frame still in excellent+ working and physical condition. This radio has a very golden age of radio look. No cracks, splits, abrasions anywhere on the cabinet! The dial light lights up brightly and looks great! Lovingly refinished top to bottom and polished to a smooth mirror piano like finish. All knobs, dial pointer, etc are present, working, not missing and securely attached. Original grill fabric is snugly attached, no rips, no fraying, no smells, no discoloration. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial with an external wire antenna which is included. Any long household wire will improve reception further
