Extra manufacturing capacity after the war perhaps? Vintage wood tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Mantola in 1946 time frame in excellent physical and working condition. Original factory finish. Has not been refinished. Minor dents, scratches, and dings throughout due to normal wear and tear. Not abused or neglected. Rare manufacturer. Not often you come across a BF Goodrich Mantola. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.
