Beautiful Sea Green Retro 1956 Motorola Model 56CS4A Vacuum Tube AM Clock Radio Rare Excellent Condition Sounds Great! DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Motorola in 1956 excellent working and physical condition. Bi-level clock and radio design. Clock is uniquely cantilevered off to the left at a slightly higher level than the radio section. This is reminiscent of euro architecture and furniture designs from the late fifties and early sixties. Post-modernist proportions with bright period hues that bespeak of technological and economic optimism and American confidence. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition. Small heat crack just beginning to form on top center. A heat shield has been attached inside to prevent further heat cracking. Original molded urea plastic in sea green color. This radio is over 50 years old!  Motorola label on front speaker grill is in
