2012 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon
WINEMAKING NOTES: The 2012 growing season was perfect in every way. An abundance of warm days and cool, foggy nights in the summer led to some perfectly timed rainfall in the fall. This vintage has a very rich and appealing profile, and we're seeing deep color, dark cherry and cassis flavors on the palate. TASTING NOTES: Aromas of cassis, plum, vanilla, and cloves. The mouth is ripe and opulent, full of red fruits and berry flavors. The tannins are balanced and velvety, with a long, persistent, fruit driven finish. PAIR WITH: Grilled, roasted, or braised red meats with full flavor preparation. Great sauce pairings include meat stock, mustard, and pepper.
