** ON SALE ** The serene woodblock print “Gifu Yuki no Takayama Sannomachi” (Old Town of Takayama in Snow, Gifu) is by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902–2000). This large-format work beautifully captures a winter scene of Takayama’s historic district in Gifu Prefecture. The strong use of color and detail conveys both the atmosphere of the season and the enduring charm of this celebrated townscape.  The Japanese title, the artist's signature "Tomi," and the artist's red seal appear in the lower left corner of the image. The limited edition number and the artist's hand-signed "T. Tokuriki" in pencil are on the bottom margin. The Japanese title and the date "Showa 55 nen" (1980) are on the right margin. A watermark reading "Tomi" is in the upper left corner.
