The serene woodblock print ’Gion Shirakawa Tatsumi-Bashi’ (Tatsumi-Bashi Bridge in Gion, Kyoto) is by Mataichiro Isoda (1902–1998). This print captures the beauty of a snowy day in Gion, depicting a Japanese woman gracefully walking with an umbrella. The delicate snow adds a touch of elegance to the already picturesque scene.
