Pink Trout Roe Caviar, Pink Trout Ikura

Pink Trout Roe Caviar (also known as Gorbuscha Ikura) is another delicacy from Europe which is harvested from the pink trout. The pink trout is raised in the freshwater lakes of France. The medium-sized beads have a bold flavor which is pretty strong but never too fishy. The beads also have sticky consistency which makes them a great compliment for garnishing appetizers or hors d'oeuvres. This roe has a beautiful appearance with a distinctive tiny orange eye on the translucent egg shell.
