Purpleheart Bo Staffs, 60"-72" All Widths

  This listing is for Un-tapered Purpleheart Bo Staffs. The Bo Staff is a traditional Okinawan wooden training tool used in many Kobudo style martial arts systems. These particular staffs range 60" to 72".  The materials consist of Purpleheart wood which is one of the most beautiful exotic woods. Its hardness is comparable to hickory and has a beautiful natural dark purple color.  Purpleheart, like all woods, can vary in density. I have marked staffs that are light weight or medium weight in the options available. Medium and lighter weight staffs are best for solo use or speed training, where the standard version is acceptable for contact uses. These staffs are un-tapered, meaning they have a constant diameter throughout the entire length 1" full size staffs are chosen for solo use, speed training, and tournaments.
