What’s ONIGIRI? Onigiri (or Omusubi) is Japanese soul food. From simple rice balls for school lunches or a picnic,  to various versions that are sold at convenience stores, onigiri holds a special place in everyone’s heart. In recent years, this ultimate Japanese comfort food has been becoming very popular worldwide. It’s been the most popular food sold through my catering business, Kozmo Kitchen. This popular Onigiri making class is now available in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood. I am super excited to see many people learn and love the Japanese soul food, ONIGIRI.  About Instructor: Kanako Koizumi, chef and owner of Kozmo Kitchen, has taught Japanese home-cooking at PCC and other locations over 15 years, providing private and classroom classes and event cooking classes.
