"Firenze" Painting Canvas Print 12x24

Although I'm a born and raised Californian, as soon as I arrived in Florence Italy, I knew I was home. Even today, the mere glimpse of the city spikes my heart rate just a bit. I'm not so unique as there are scores of people where Florence resonates for them as well. I've taken literally thousands of pictures of the city, but this is the first painting I did. I wanted to do an abstract piece that still did the city justice. I have been doing more realism work of late, but for this I wanted to capture feeling more than detail. I chose a small gusseted board and worked off a reference photo I had taken years ago. This canvas print of the original oil painting "Firenze" is a little unique in that it is larger than the original, which is 6x12".
