Black and White Tahitian Palm

This dancing palm was photographed at the southern tip of Raiatea, in French Polynesia in front of the Hotel Atiapiti, a charming collection of bungalows run by a gregarious French woman and her son. I loved the way the wind moved the branches. The motu in the distance beckons and the long, ancient wooden pier peeking out at the right invites you to take a swim. This black and white version of Tahitian Palm looks great with a variety of décor styles and pairs well with Black and White Bay Island Palm and Black and White Catalina Palm as a two-image diptych or a three-image triptych.
