This unique beach, a few miles from Paia Town, is named Baby Beach for its protected lagoon formed by a natural reef. On most days the reef makes for a natural safe swimming area, where children and adults are protected from the surf. Turtles love this beach too, for the same protection it provides humans. I was captivated by the colors of the ocean, sand, reef and sky.
