3 1/2 Yards or 3.2 Meters of Cotton Mesh: Textural

mid twentieth century3 1/2 yards x 16", 3.2 m x 40 cm This is a length of commercially woven, quite open mesh cotton cloth. The yarns are thick and the texture is delicious in the hand.  Because of the net-like quality, when it was acquired in Japan it was represented as being fishing net, however it appears more to be the kind of cloth used in cooking and steaming of food. There is good quantity of it--3 1/2 yards or 3.2 meters--so much can be done with this undyed, generous length of unused, beautifully textured cotton mesh. With imagination and inspiration this length can be transformed into something wonderful, either for the home or for apparel.
