A Good Daifukucho: Antique Ledger Book

late nineteenth century15" x 5" x 1 1/2", 38 cm x 12.5 cm x 3.75 cm This is a good, old daifukucho, a hand bound, hand written book which could have originally been used for inventories, for accounting, for ledgers or as a record of loans. This one is thick with many pages, each one filled with hand writing done in sumi or charcoal-based ink.  Its front abraded cover shows hand written kanji or Chinese characters.  A fantastic example of a traditional daifukucho, with its original, intact cording.  Really attractive.
