A Slender Daifukucho: Old Ledger Book

early twentieth century15 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 1/4", 39.25 cm x 14 cm x 1 cm This is a very nice, old daifukucho, a hand bound, hand written book which could have originally been used for inventories, for accounting, for ledgers or as a record of inventory. This daifukucho is slender and contains a modest number of pages, 13 in all including the back and front "covers," each one written on with hand writing done in sumi or charcoal-based ink.  Its covers are of the same paper as the book.  A good example of a traditional daifukucho, with its original, intact cording.
