A Thick Daifukucho: Old Ledger Book

early twentieth century13 1/2" x 5" x 3/4", 34 cm x 12.75 cm x 2 cm This is a very nice, old. thick daifukucho, a hand bound, hand written book which could have originally been used for inventories, for accounting, for ledgers or as a record of loans. This one is partially filled with pages of hand writing done in sumi or charcoal-based ink. Its two covers show hand written kanji or Chinese characters. Each of the two covers is quite worn and wrinkled. A good example of a traditional daifukucho, with its original, intact binding cord.
