2025 World Championship Gruyère

This 18 month Gruyère was just named Overall Champion at the 2025 World Cheese Awards in Bern, Switzerland. It is produced by Bergkäserei Vorderfultigen, a small creamery in Hinterfultigen, Switzerland.  Brothy and complex, with a light crystallization. The complexity makes it ideal for pairing both sweet and savory accoutrements.  Only eight wheels of this award-winning Gruyère have made it over to the United States, and we were lucky enough to receive one of them!
