3/3-3/5:Join Wait List! “Multi-Layered Stained Glass 3 Day Intensive:Plating and Printmaking” w/Jos

We are so excited to have Joseph Cavalieri return from NYC for an intermediate session of stained glass-meets printmaking meets fusing! Perfect for students who are familiar with working with stained glass who want to make a more elaborate multi-layered stained glass panel with custom imagery kiln-fired on. Joseph will help direct you to design and make a 10-by-10 inch finished work, plated with multiple layers of glass. Techniques include airbrushing, painting, pen and-ink drawing, and silk-screen printing using existing screens the instructor will bring. You don’t need to be an expert painter, we will be tracing images in class in addition to using stencils and screens. After the glass is painted and fired, we layer and solder it together. Framing, lighting will be discussed in class, with samples.
