 Mandheling is grown on the Indonesian island of Sumatra and is known as much for its smooth, full body (think: mouthfeel) as well as its rich and complex taste. This Grade 1 specialty coffee is often described as earthy and intense with an herbal aroma.  This aroma is very unique to the region and not found in other coffees in the region. Region: North Sumatra, Indonedia Growing Altitude: 975 - 1,800 meters above sea level Arabica Variety: Typica Harvest Period: June - December Milling Process: Giling Basah (wet-hulled), sundried Aroma: Slightly Earthy Flavor: Herbal, Tobacco, Chocolate, Molasses, Clean Earthy, Woody Notes, Spicy Body: Full Acidity: Low Roasted to perfection from Medium - to Espresso Dark.   Custom Grinding is available for a per-pound fee of $3.
