A magnificent early 19th century French Louis XV five piece carved walnut parlor suite richly upholstered in exceptional, early and rare handwoven Aubusson tapestries. The set includes four armchairs and a sofa, settee or canapé, each with one unique bird woven into its tapestry, and all finely carved with giltwood detail. The quality of the Aubusson tapestries is wonderful; there are some threadbare areas commensurate with the age of the pieces.
