GABA enriched (or fortified) tea is associated with oolong, but we have sourced a singular producer who makes GABA Pu’er, an extremely rare tea which is hard to find even in Yunnan. Made with tea leaves from Menghai harvested in spring 2024, the production of this tea involves a unique 6-hour anaerobic fermentation process, which gives the tea its characteristic aroma and flavor.  As a result, this is a tea which is perfect for those who a the appreciate the characteristics of GABA oolong, but are searching for a unique experience. Unlike a standard raw Pu'er tea, this GABA has a distinctive floral and fruity taste that is free of any tartness.
