Our newest raw Pu’er—known as “Rock Sugar Sweet” Iceland raw Pu’er, it has a delicious taste with fragrant aftertaste and full body. (This tea is described as having sweet notes but does not contain actual sweetness or sugar.)These are Iceland raw Pu'er tea discs from the famous Iceland village. Bing Dao, translated as Iceland, is a village located halfway up Bangma Snow Mountain in China, with an altitude of 3,200 meters. The Pu'er tea from Bing Dao village is known for its superb quality, with a thicker mouthfeel and smooth, slightly sweet taste. Unlike ripe and fermented Pu’er, which has a more earthy taste, raw Pu’er has a vibrant and fresh aroma. Each tea disc weighs about 8g and makes at least 5-6 cups of tea (half disc makes about 3-4). While ripe Pu’er tea has higher levels of caffeine (similar to black tea), aged raw Pu’er has very low levels of caffeine and higher levels of GABA, an important amino acid for relaxation and mental health.
