Made of copper with nickel plated interior, each kettle is handcrafted in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. With its high heat conductivity and antibacterial, sterilizing, and chlorine-dissolving properties, copper kettles were traditionally used for brewing herbal medicine. The spout includes a built-in strainer, making it an excellent choice for quickly boiling water as well as for brewing tea. The lightweight but durable copper develops a rich amber hue over time and is designed to endure with appropriate maintenance.
