KOUSHUNGAMA / MATCHA BOWL

Made by KOUSHUNGAMA in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, a historic area renowned for pottery production. Established in 1989, KOUSHUNGAMA is a ceramic studio that makes simple everyday ware using traditional techniques. One of their specialities is delicate color expressions, developing various glazes for a wide range of colors and tones. These matcha bowls are finished with a glaze that creates a distinctive textured appearance. White bowls have a brush stroke texture, and the black bowls have a vertical stripe texture.
