The Alpine Hunter was designed by Aaron over at One Tree Leather. He lives in BC Canada and hunts in the mountains for days at a time, because of the conditions he hunts in and situations that may arise he needs a small light knife. This design suits western hunters who need to hike their game out. To me its very reminiscent of a paring knife.
