The Forester model is my first knife to introduce to the bushcraft world. The Forester is designed to be a more compact and nimble blade over a knife that would be considered to be more traditional. With a cutting edge of 4 inches you're allowed a greater level of control vs a knife with 4.5 inches or greater cutting edge. Steel: .160 CPM 1V 62-63 HRC with tapered tang Blade: 3.875 OAL: 8.5 Handle: Giraffe bone bolster, stabilized buckeye burl with red linen spacer and liner, and copper hardware. This knife is discounted due to unseen voids in the buckeye that were filled with CA glue. See photos. supplied with kydex sheath
