This wine is made of 90% Malvasia and 10% Ortrugo & Trebbiano Toscano. We would pair it with grilled swordfish with a side of braised white beans and spinach. The varieties are co-planted to vines with an average age of 30 years. The juice sees skin contact for about 4 months, and is a classically extracted orange wine. It is floral, and sharp with decent body, and will do well with lots of foods. The name "Ageno" is in homage to the original owner of the estate, Giancarlo Ageno.
