Stachys byzantina, commonly called lamb’s ear, is an herbaceous perennial plant in the mint family of Lamiaceae. S. byzantina are native to Iran, Turkey, and Armenia and are commonly grown as an ornamental plant for their soft velvety leaves that feel interesting to the touch. The leaves are sometimes battered and deep fried, and are said to have a fishlike taste.  Stachys byzantina has been used historically as a wound dressing because the leaves have absorbent, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. USDA hardiness zones 3 to 10. Plant the Stachys byzantina seeds on the surface of a well draining potting soil. Carefully sprinkle a thin layer of soil over the top of the seeds, just enough to cover the seeds. Keep the soil moist, but not soaking wet, and keep between 65°F to 75°F for best results. Germination typically takes 3 to 5 weeks to occur.    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING DISCLAIMER: All packages will be shipped with basic customs information such as; HS codes, VAT numbers, a
