Red Wethersfield is an heirloom red onion first introduced in 1834 by Hovey & Co. of Boston.  Originally named Large Red, the variety was eventually renamed Red Wethersfield due to its immense popularity with producers in Wethersfield, Connecticut.  Great for fresh eating, grilling and roasting.  Long-day variety.  Matures approximately 120 days from transplant.  Each packet contains a minimum of 50 seeds.
