1930's Navajo Silver Link Belt With Natural Turquoise
This vintage Navajo silver link belt is almost 100 years old, and yet it's every bit as stunning today as it was on the day it was completed. The belt shows the special markings of handmade details everywhere you look. There's a lot to this timeless design - starting with the eleven oval scalloped silver conchos, each set with a round natural turquoise stone and accented with striking stamp work in a sunburst motif. Twelve stamped silver spacers are attached with silver wire and decorated with a complimentary but different sunburst pattern. Each concho and spacer is in an oval shape, but the buckle is a rectangle with rounded edges. That change in shape is everything because it adds so much interest.
