A Hopi Easter Bunny Polychrome Pottery Bowl

Bring some Hopi into your Easter celebration with this wonderful handmade polychrome pottery bowl. This whimsical bowl has a bunny head and tail on either end that rise up from the rim of the bowl. The piece is painted in stylized bird wing motifs. Can you think of a better dish for all of that pretty easter candy? It's a well-loved treasure from the private collection of Martha Hopkins Struever, Native American art collector, dealer and scholar, who had a special affinity for all things Hopi. The bowl measures 5 1/2" diameter x 5 1/4" tall to top of bunny's ears. The piece is unsigned but very well made.
