Sometimes you may want the incomparable form of a naja without the bulk of an entire squash blossom necklace. This single triple naja pendant gives you that benefit. It's an authentic early Navajo piece that dates circa 1925. Completely hand-wrought of stamped and carinated silver, this exceptional pendant is set with twelve natural turquoise stones that are said to be Persian turquoise. If you look closely, you'll see the stones are domed which is in keeping with Persian turquoise of that time.  This naja pendant was most likely the centerpiece of a full necklace back in its time, but like so many of the old Navajo and Pueblo bead and/or squash naja necklaces, they break over time, and collectors lose beads and blossoms.  In fact, many of the early naja necklaces that you find today have been restrung - some haven't even been restrung with their original beads and blossoms but with bits and pieces from assorted old necklaces that have been found over time.
