These ignition coils are direct OEM replacements for the 2006-2009 2.0T TSI & 2.0T FSI MK5 GTI engines. OEM VW ignition coils to keep your MK5 GTI running at top-notch performance. Ignition coils won't provide additional horsepower gains, but they will restore any horsepower that is lost from bad ignition coils and will prevent issues such as: cylinder misfires, cold start issues, rough idling, sluggish acceleration, and poor fuel economy.  We recommend replacing ignition coils and spark plugs at the same time, or every 60,000 miles or 3 years.
