BERU or Bremi Ignition Coil Pack *Spark plug wires not included Part #: 06A905097A or 06A-905-097-A These ignition coil packs are direct OEM replacements for the 1999-2005 2.0L AZG, AVH, BEV, & BBW Volkswagen MK4 GTI engine.  A coil pack is a collection of ignition coils that transforms voltage from a vehicle's battery to create a spark in each cylinder. We recommend replacing ignition coil packs, spark plug wires, and spark plugs at the same time, or every 40,000 miles or 4 years.  Symptoms of ignition coil packs going bad are similar to spark plugs going bad: cylinder misfires, sluggish engine performance, rough idle, and poor starts.
