Chinese Cloisonné Vase with Floral Design Circa 1920’s

A colorful handmade cloisonné vase decorated with peony bushes. The base metal is copper, which is visible on the mouth, shallow foot and base. The word CHINA has been stamped onto the base. MEASUREMENTS 4 ½” (11.4 cm) diameter x 9 ½” (24.1 cm) tall. Weighs 11.0 oz (315 g) CONDITION There is a small enamel loss on the scallop border above the foot. There are no other breaks, repairs, or cracks. There are age spots to the metal in the throat of the vase. There are manufacture flaws to the glass enamels, such as pitting. The enamels are bright and colorful. A colorful vase to add to many decors from mid-century to traditional.
