Victorian Egyptian Revival EAPG Relish Dish Sphynx and Pyramid

An elaborate, detailed, flint glass relish dish with an Egyptian motif that has all the bells and whistles.   A molded flint glass has a molded design of a sphynx, pyramid, palms, camel and sunbursts. It is very ancient Egyptian looking. The glass has that flint feeling with a bright clarity. The foot is shallow and square.    MEASUREMENTS   8 ¾” long x 5 3/8” wide x 1 ½” tall. Weighs 315 oz (11.0 g)   CONDITION   There are flea bites on the edges and two small chips on the underside of the rim. There is some wear to the surface of the interior from use.  There are glass manufacture flaws, such as bubbles and lines.   A great Egyptian Revival dish to add to a collection or use to serve with.
