Lemon Pepper Seasoning
Citrus and pepper combine to make a great seasoning for fish, chicken and vegetable and rice dishes. Pairs great with garlic olive oil, italian seasoning, herb grill and lots of fresh herbs and aromatics. Use for all fish and chicken marinades. Flavor Hacks: Lemon Pepper Champagne Chicken - 4 eight ounce chicken breasts. Chicken Marinade: 3 T champagne, 1 T lemon pepper spice, juice of 1/2 lemon, 2 T. garlic oil, 1 t. creole seasoning. Marinate 1-3 hours. Take chicken out of marinade, put olive oil in the bottom of a baking dish, layer in chicken. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees until chicken is at least 165 degrees. Lemon Pepper Shrimp - Coat bottom of pan with garlic oil. Toss raw shrimp in lemon pepper seasoning and creole spice. Saute shrimp just a few minutes on each side. Turn off and let coast in. Serve with herb rice and sauteed vegetables for a complete meal or add taco seasoning at the end and use in shrimp tacos.
