Automotive Career Cart

Description:   The automotive cart demonstrates the duties of a mechanic and how to do some of their works. Students will learn to change the tires of a car and also check if the engine is functioning properly. There is also a game where they try to change the air filter of the car. Project Challenge: Understand basic car care by working at a local auto repair garage Learn to make basic repairs and perform routine maintenance Key Student Activities: Safely change the model vehicle’s tire by removing and replacing the rear tire Use an OBD-II scanner to diagnose a check engine light and learn to make necessary repairs Relevant Careers: Automotive Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Airport Mechanic
